Bucks HSC Ventures has developed a clear programme path that puts the SME and their idea at the heart of all analysis and development.
“Having the NHS and local authority as delivery partners offers us a unique opportunity to create a ‘needs driven system pull’ for innovations as opposed to the more traditional ’tech push’ approach which has seen many technologies struggle to find a market. Supported by the programme, SMEs will be able to prototype, test and develop quality products aligned to clinical pathways, expand their business, employ more people and propel their product to market.”
The Bucks HSC Ventures programme is offered by the Bucks Health and Social Care Innovation Hub project which is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020. The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) is the Managing Authority for the European Regional Development Fund. Established by the European Commission, the European Regional Development Fund helps local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support innovation, businesses, create jobs and local community regenerations.
